Vail Christian High School seeks to admit bright and energetic young men and women
who demon-strate a potential for succeeding as contributing members of the Vail
Christian student body. A placement test is required for all freshmen seeking admission.
Freshmen applicants will be considered for acceptance on the basis of the placement
test, overall middle school performance, personal refer-ences and an interview.
Applications for transfer students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Students who are failing academically or who have substance-related or disciplinary
problems are not encouraged to apply.
The first nine-week period is considered a proba-tionary period for all new students.
Application packets, as well as detailed information concerning Visitor Days, are
available at the school office.

The Best Way to Know is to Visit
|
|
The best way for a student to discover what it means to be a Vail Christian Saint
is to experience a day of high school life on campus. Vail Christian’s informational
“Visitor Days” are designed for families interested in our school. Current VCHS
stu-dents, acting as ambassadors, accompany middle school students through a half
day of classes and welcome programs. Before joining their students for an informal
lunch, parents are also invited to attend a presentation and question and answer
period at which time current VCHS parents, as well as faculty and staff, are available
to answer questions. If you are unavailable for a visitor day, contact us for an
individu-alized Saints Tour.
Individual students and prospective transfer students can also spend a day at Vail
Christian and “shadow” a Vail Christian ambassador in order to experience the flavor
of academic life on our campus and to get a taste of the spirit of the Vail Christian
Saints.
Prospective students can visit Vail Christian most days that school is in session.
We recommend a morning visit ending after lunch (please bring your own). If your
student would like to shadow with another friend, that is possible as well.

origin in admitting stu-dents, or in the administration of its educational poli-cies,
scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.
