2010-2011 Tuition and Fees
|
|
Because of the quality of our programs, the tuition for Vail Christian High School
is higher than some other Christian schools within our state. However, we have a
desire that no child from a deserving family will be denied admission for financial
reasons only. Once your student has been accepted, your financial situation can
be further discussed with the Head of School. Tuition charges for the upcoming school
year will be set by the Board in March of each year.

|
A non-refundable application fee of $100 is required at the time the application
is submitted for all incoming students. If your student is applying to be a freshmen,
grade 9, your student will be required to take a diagnostic placement test prior
to acceptance. This test will assist the school in determining the student’s placement
in certain core classes. There is an additional $25 testing and processing fee for
all incoming freshmen. VCHS offer the High School Placement Test (HSPT) from Scholastic
Testing Services, Inc.

|
Upon receipt of all forms along with copies of your student’s most recent transcript
and standardized test scores, and upon review of the application, we will contact
you and your student to arrange a personal interview with the administration.
|
|
Upon acceptance, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $250 is required which serves
to guarantee your student’s place at Vail Christian High School. A student will
not be permitted to complete course selections and will not be formally accepted
until this fee is paid.

Parents may pay tuition one of two ways. Tuition may be paid in full prior to the
start of classes with check, cash or credit card (card holder is responsible for
all credit card fees). If parents would like to pay the tuition on a monthly or
quarterly basis, the parent must coordinate tuition payments through FACTS Tuition
Management Services. FACTS does charge an annual set up fee for this service. Application
forms for FACTS are available from the Business Office at Vail Christian and the
completed application must be returned to the Vail Christian Business Office by
May 15th. The business office must receive confirmation from FACTS that your account
has been successfully set up before your student will be permitted to attend classes.
Students will not be permitted to take final exams, receive transcripts and/or grades
and seniors may not be permitted to participate in graduation exercises unless tuition
accounts are current.
